The following image shows my sequencer with the new data.
And below is the sound of that file. The problem with the current file is that some of the notes fall outside the bounds of the samples, i.e. those at the bottom and those at the top; therefore some of the gaps in the audio file are longer than they should be.
So, how to proceed?
I've just started reading Merlin Coverley's book Psychogeography and in that I was struck by the following passage:
"This obsession with the occult is allied to an antiquarianism that views the present through the prism of the past and which lends itself to psychogeographical research that increasingly contrasts a horizontal movement across the topography of the city with a vertical descent through its past."
This simultaneous movement along and down interests me and I wonder if it's something I should think about as regards this piece?
